For many years the subject of my paintings and drawings were cattle or deer. I grew up on a farm. Over the years my father raised Hereford, Brahma and Angus cattle.
I loved the elegant look of the Brahma.

The Man O'War paintings were inspired by my son's traumatic encounter with these creatures in the Gulf of Mexico many years ago.

A gift to my parents after I moved to New Mexico. My minds eye painting of my childhood home and a colored pencil rendering of the symbol of my new home ( the Yucca).
